CLOUDFLARE’S PRIVACY-BASED DNS APPLICATION ADDS FREE VPN

Warp is a VPN for your mobile device.

The Cloud fare DNS 1.1.1.1 service will add a VPN to your mobile application. Known as Warp, this feature gives DNS resolution users even more privacy when surfing the Internet with their phone. Although the DNS 1.1.1.1 service already prevents your operator from tracking your browser history, it does not encrypt your Internet traffic. The manual configuration of the encryption in the Cloudfare DNS server has required, as far as possible, some Linux skills.

Warp takes the next step to encrypt its connection to the CloudFlare servers and aims to reduce the use of data by caching and compressing the content as much as possible. Its use as a VPN also masks all Internet traffic on your phone, including the rest of your applications.

With Warp, Cloudflare is committed to maintaining all privacy protections that existed with 1.1.1.1. The company will never sell your browsing data, use targeted advertising or request personal identification information, such as your name or email address, to register.

The VPN will run on a freemium model, which will allow customers to switch to Warp + for faster performance with a “low monthly fee”. Although Warp is not available to everyone 1.1.1.1. For the moment, youcan place your name on a waitlist in the app.
